You started the thread by asking, whether the digital out from a Touch or Transporter would make a significant change. And people now turn into telling you that before thinking about the subtle differences of the transport (if there are at all), it's more important to look first into your room. The changes the transport will make to your music in this scenario are soooo subtle (if there are any at all), that every reflection that is bounced back from your walls, curtains and windows will have much more impact on the sound due to interference than the transport itself.
