Hi folks, I might be tempting fate here, posting in the Audiophile forum, but here goes.
I'm considering buying a Touch. Currently all my music is ripped in either 160kbs mp3 format or Apple Lossless. All my classical is in Apple Lossless format. I have a "nice" receiver and "nice" speakers, but they're not audiophile gear. Receiver = NAD AV713. Speakers = KEF Q50 speakers. Both are from about 15 years ago. Will playing the Apple Lossless or 160kbs mp3 tracks through a SB Touch and its RCA jacks sound significantly better than playing the same tracks from my iPod through a 1/8"-to-RCA adapter? Thanks!
