I had the same problem with my Transporter, and the cause was the Cable TV cable. If you have a Cable TV cable near your Transporter, try unscrewing it from the wall outlet and see if the hum goes away. If that gets rid of the hum, you'll need to install an isolation transformer on your Cable TV cable to fix the problem.
