I am just wondering why the sound quality on BBC radio in London is so
bad when compared to CD? The bass is awful as is the treble. This is
true for my Quad FM tuner, my DAB tuner, BBC iPlayer (using the higher
qulaity AAC feed). This is not a bit rate thing - I would much rather
listen to a 128 bit AAC file encoded from CD than say Radio 2. Does
anyone know why this is? Has been the case for as long as I can
remember. For what it's worth most radio stations sound terrible, but
somehow one expects better from the BBC.
