It seems that spdif is coming back, or keeping up, with 21st century
audiophila. I have hope! I want to be able to depend on it, even though
I dont use it now. I really dont like the sound of whats getting cranked
out via USB. Its convenient but it seems a bit questionable, even with
asynch. As Phil stated, the spdif on the Touch is 'good'. Equally
important is how it is handled on the other end. I feel there is hope
there as well. Stay tuned (Wyred4sound). Here is what I would like to
hear - PC to Touch via ethernet, to  Wyred4sound DAC 2.
