Hi Darren - I havent experimented with downsampled 24/96 to 16/44.1. What I have been messing with is software upsampling of 16/44.1 to 24/96 with various converters. Good results with Sox VHQ linear. It seems the Transporter works well with 24/96. I am under the impression that sending an upsampled single to the Transporter is preferable to having the 16/44.1 upsampled on the fly at the Transporter end in hardware. Too many variable at this stage. Kind of overwhelming.
