I agree. I am 95% sure this is a piss-take of the sort of rubbish
spouted by err no one on this forum obviously.Anyone in any doubt would
have to account for this page
http://www.coconut-audio.com/chassis.htm

I was almost tempted to try buying an item to see if it would take the
money. But I think it would be a better idea if you tried it, for
technical reasons too complex to explain.
Incidentally i think the article you refer to is
Transgressing the Boundaries: Towards a Transformative Hermeneutics of
Quantum Gravity by Sokal.
http://www.physics.nyu.edu/faculty/sokal/transgress_v2/transgress_v2_singlefile.html
In fairness Sokal's gambit was far braver and trickier since he
actually managed to get his article printed in a supposedly reputable
(peer-reviewed?) journal. The authors of the coconut site, much though
they are to be commended, have just stuck up a website and sought to
fool passing audiophiles into thinking that their fantasy creations are
effective. As we know this is not exactly difficult.

I recommend
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Higher-Superstition-Academic-Quarrels-Science/dp/0801857074
on the subject, although it's probably a bit over-politicised.
