Some dumb questions that search or RTFM not made obvious. Have RTFM'd but can't find out how the internal DAC in SB Touch is automatically disabled when one attaches an external DAC. Is it a by-default setting when spidf out is connected (coax or opt.)? I want to be sure that it is the external DAC that i am listening to by choice.
Likewuse Are there any settings on Squeezeserver that I should adjust in order to optimise - I tend to leave it alone and remain on most stable version. Furthermore, if one connects both coax and optical to a DAC concurrently, which would default? I have tried to do some listening tests to hear if my ears can discern spidf differences, but have failed to do so so. My system: Tranquil Harmony T7>router>Devolo N extender> wireless to SB Touch> optical to Cyrus PreXP D Qx Dac chip> Dynaudio Focus 110 Actives> Velodyne SPLr 800 ultra sub I am overall very happy with system - but dont want to miss any tricks. thanks for reading. -- turbot fiend ------------------------------------------------------------------------ turbot fiend's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22691 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86630 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
