Ah, that is more than likely why it has not been done already, and why I could not find any information on how to do it.
I guess Meridian found their own way around it. HDMI, hmmm my processor is pre HDMI, good job really, as I can't program and spare time... what is that? ;-) So it looks like my so called simple solution is a dead end, Oh well, many thanks! for your input to help me understand the area a bit more. HeHe active speakers, it does not seem quite so much fun buying something that will work straight away :-) Simple though which is always good!
