Hi Dynaudiorules, I'm really interested in trying this out but I'm a total Linux newb.... I'm not 100% clear about what I'm supposed to do.....
What I have done is opened WinScp, logged in, navigated to the proper file and installed the 5 yellow highlighted lines of code, and rebooted the Touch. So far so good. What I don't understand is what, if anything else, I'm supposed to do. I've got Soundcheck's mods installed and so the WLAN is already disabled. Do I also need to go in and comment out the lines having to do with Samba. If so, how does one "comment out" something?? If I have to go back in and comment this out, do I also need to reinstall those previously installed 5 lines of code? Is all the stuff under "Detailed information about the mod..." just informational or is there other stuff in there that needs to be done? Sorry for all the questions, but I really am a complete novice at this. Thanks for any help and, especially, thanks for your work should this turn out to improve the sound quality of the Touch. -- rgro Rick System information ------------------------ Main: PS Audio Quintet > Vortexbox > Touch (wired) via spdif coax > Rega DAC > LFD LE IV amp > VA Mozart Grands > REL Acoustics R305.
