Finally managed to apply this mod, and must say that I'm shocked at how
much of an improvement it brings. I'm running it at 53 for spdif and it
truly is an amazing improvement in all categories, from resolution,
tactile presence, to soundstage, bass firmness, etc. Everything now
sounds so much more solid, so much more musical and real.

Haven't tried other values yet, and was wondering whether, after
changing the value and saving the file, it becomes effective
immediately, or only after I reboot the Touch? I'd say (intuitively),
that the effect will only take after the reboot, but I may be wrong.

Could you please clarify this for us? It would not only save me a lot
of time waiting for the player to reboot, but would also make it easier
to fine tune the system by changing the values back and forth while the
music is playing.

Again, thanks a million for this marvellous gift -- it is much
appreciated!
