Realizing this is a luxury problem .

(A real problem is living in africa being chased by drug crazed
children with AK47's )

Digital processors and digital speakers have a certain delay when they
process data , this impacts on sync.

There is a setting to help us overcome this:

PLAYER AUDIO DELAY (MS)

I'm trying to fine tune this delay by ear but it all depends on where
in my department I'm listening obviously as speed of sound is slow .

I try to find the a spot where at the same distance to every player and
play electronic music with very dry sound and not so much reverb or
echo, to fine tune this (Farben, Textstar ) .

So what I'm asking here is do anyone knows the delay time trough a G68
and a DSP5200 speaker and how much different processing modes impacts
this and also how much DRC impacts delays .

Hopefully you are aware that digital processing causes a small time
delay, for Video processing this is obvious if you are sensitive to
lipsync issues but there is also delay in audio processing.

maybe we should list known delay times for certain products somewhere,
wiki ?
