Pete:

IMO, the best interconnects are those that do not add colorations to
the signal. They allow the good (and the bad) of one's electronics to
come through. I have been surprised by how rare this quality is among
some megabuck cables I listened to.

I have had excellent results with Emotiva X series interconnects,

http://emotiva.com/interconnects.shtm

which to my ears seem very neutral and to my pocketbook seem very
reasonable priced. In my system, they beat the pants off, e.g., Nordost
Blue Heaven and my own home made silver core cables. Emotiva, like Blue
Jeans, lets you return cables you don't like; this makes it possible to
use your own ears to judge the results, a process I highly recommend to
you. Do not buy unless you have satisfied yourself that you're getting
the results you want!

Best luck in your quest!
