I would like to accomplish a few things with this thread (as listed
below) so that my fellow forum members and I will have thread we can
link to in order to dispel so many of the digital audio myths which
pervade the realm of audiophilia.

1) Do cables matter when transferring digital data? And if yes, then
how so?

I'll start this off with a link to an excellent article on the
PCMagazine web site:

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:PTT4kuHvJUEJ:www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2385272,00.asp+slaying+the+monster+cable+pcmag&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a

(Sorry the link is from a Google cache but the normal link is not
working)

2) Do the Squeezebox family devices output a bit perfect digital data
stream to either their internal DAC or to an external DAC?

2a) Are all bit perfect digital data streams of the same data
identical?

3) Other than speed and dropouts is wireless streaming sonically
inferior to wired streaming?

Please answer these questions and if possible include relevant links.
Also feel free to add any other digital audio myths that you can think
of, with or without an answer.

Thanks!
