Yes, I did that a while ago. I have those Cisco/Linksys routers that
come with those really nasty RF-emitting switcher wall-warts. Before
the Touch I used to switch them off when listening to music.

Am I the first/only one anal enough to put my Touch in a metal box? I
had the small box already, and since the Touch sits in my A/V rack with
all the other stuff very close, it seemed *technically* a good idea.
Keep the bad stuff out of the Touch, and keep any Touch-generated crap
out of the rest of the analog system. I'm running full 3.0 mods,
half-decent linear PS, outboard DAC, and wired ethernet, though I
control the Touch via an iPod with the wireless access point as far
away from the audio system as possible (upstairs). This latter was easy
for me to do, no effort really, so I'm not saying to do it otherwise.
It's about controlling the (unnecessary) junk that you can, the same
philosophy as your Toolbox I think.

Overall, the sound now provided by the Touch as a music access point in
its current state is lightyears (soundyears?) beyond what I had when I
first got it.

Thanks.
