JJZolx No such question was asked here but if you insist... :-) After realizing the fact that my current dac sounds better enough to make decision to sell either Touch or Transporter, I did comparison which of them is better as digital source. Obviously, taking into account finances and other users' opinion, that's easy verdict. However to have a peace of mind, I went ahead and play. Result? Putting away all technical aspects and measurements, it is all about music and emotional experience, Transporter is a better source. Now, my question arises. Is it better enough to justify the price difference ? IMO, absolutely not. That's why I did stick to Touch and save some bucks. Never tried Transporter that way but I use Touch with extracted I2S fed to dac and that is whole another story... :-) Regards
