Yes, I did -- though not from hard wired to bridge, but from WLAN to bridge, which in addition to the potential advantages soundcheck and Phil Leigh have suggested, also allowed me to experiment with different Ethernet cables. I reported my experiences in posts #313, 341, and 350. Subsequently, I listened more extensively to comparisons between Monster Cat6 and nondescript Cat5 cables connecting Touch and bridge. Contrary to my initial impressions, the Monster turned out to provide the most convincing timbral accuracy, tonal balance, and soundstage. Curiously, to achieve this result I had to lower my subwoofer's crossover to its minimum (30Hz) and also further lower its volume by two notches. All in all, a (to me) quite audible and significant improvement.
