Klaus, I have learned a lot over the last 2 weeks and thanks to you I now have a pretty amazing sounding system. Here are the mods that have made a difference mains cable r us mk 2 linear psu, meicord ethernet cable, TT3.0, digital coax soldered to main board, removed toslink connector from SBT, disconnected screen and the priority changes - have set watchdog, irq37, events/0,krcupreemptd, irq7 and irq8 to sched_other priority 0, fidelizer. setting IRQ14 to sched_rr priority 40 seems to produce a sweeter sound, sched_other a more open sound and sched_fifo a more constrained sound. Soldering the coax to the main board is a big step up in performance as you recommended, it has really changed the character of the SBT. thanks shall make a xmas donation -- SBGK ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SBGK's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52003 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91322 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
