For now I've settled on 20K with Logitech settings. I found the <4K to be a bit too thick for my setup. Fortunately I've been able to do enough tweaking downstream from the SB to attenuate some of the 20K's aggressiveness in the highs. I actually had to backpedal at one point and use a more aggressive tube in my DAC. Now I have just enough bite. I had nowhere to go with the <4K.
