That is the way I have mine hooked up. Two Airport Extreme base stations, one next to the SBT is run in "extended" mode via wifi and the SBT is connected through a short ethernet cable. A floor beneath the main AEBS is connected to the high speed connection. Works great. If you have an ipod or ipad, there are apps that will allow you to browse the library while the screen is off. Personally in my setup I have found the tweaks to be a bit lacking in the low end, but the top end is good, very open, with the right buffer.
