Bottom line 10000 is best for me: I bought terminus for my iPad so I could do this as quickly as feasible. I used Dave Grusin 's Discovered again. : the cripple creek cut, stereophile's calibration disk: soundstage, and Jarret's Kon concert for testing. 3600 to harsh, loss of sense of ambience 20000 a bit fuzzy on bass and bell, but ambience very good. 5000 ambience not as good as 20000, Jarret's piano maybe a little harsh. 10000 seems to be best in my system. The soundstage was perfect in the stereophile test disk , Koln concert sounds great as does the Grusin cd. I have an SACD of Ron Carter and Passos that is a hybrid that I have ripped.
