better wifi on the Touch and much easier to setup and trouble shoot, if
the duet-reciever malf for some reason an Ui conisting of a flashing
led wont tell you much .
And you also get ir remote, the reciever have no ir .

And what bytec said hirez, even if the downsampling on the server is
very good it uses cpu and if you have a small server like me, you are
happy to be rid of transcoding for hirez files.

Sound quality, I'm completely unfamiliar with the modern dac magic ,
but if it has reasonably good jitter and noise rejection sq diff on
normal CD quality may be subtle or nonexisting.

That said, Touch is a better player especially it's analog output , but
spdiff is said to be better to.
But if you can hear the " better spdif" witha dac-magic I don't know
really.

but it can't be wrong to have a better transport given it's low price I
think that even subtle improvements acumulate to a better sound in the
end.  But in the whole picture with that money is the $ more effective
somewhere else in your system
