Learning from Soundcheck's site, I understand that there may be some benefit to decode flac to wav at the server side and send wav to the SBT. However, when I set up the server this way, I notice that 192 FLACs, which used to be downsampled to 96, can no longer be played. Is there a way to get around this?
Also, I have read here and there that the SBT's hardware should be able to allow 192 throughput through spdif. Has anyone done the firmware mod for that yet? I couldn't seem to find one.
