In that regard, as long as your server is in a different room than the listening room/Squeezebox, and it has a PSU that doesn't inject significant amounts of noise into the mains, there are no more hardware or software server tweaks that would make a difference sound quality wise. (Except from processing the sound with a digital plug-in, obviously.)
