The only problem with these triode + TT3.0 + SBGK mods is that it has enhanced the playback of 16/44.1 to such an extent that I need a display of the sample rate to let me know whether it should sound good as 16/44.1 can't possibly sound this good.
Can't say that I could tell a well recorded 16/44.1 from 24/192 now which is a nice dilema to have. so it's no wonder the usb dacs sound good with the triode mods, the whole quality of the sound has been enhanced to a fantastic extent, the output from the sp/dif is at a level of sound quality I would not have believed a couple of days ago.
