well, I am offering them to people who pm me as they were still in
development, that development is now at an end, so I may make them
available via a blog.

It requires about 6 file changes and maybe a bit of experimentation and
depends on peoples setup, if people got into trouble with them then
there would be a lot of negative comments if they were publicly
available. With people having to contact me first then there is a self
selection element that means they are interested in improving the sound
and are also confifent in making the changes.

Here is some feedback - no negative feedback so far

Hi

Just to let you know that I have been listening with your latest
settings and buffertime=999999999.

Absolutely superb sound. Still a tad on the dark side, but with lots of
detail, nuances, and complexity. Plenty of sparkle, too, when on the
record. Sound stage is expansive and three-dimensional. And the acid
test: the medley from Mingus' "The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady," 18
minutes of dissonance which I was actually able to enjoy, for a change.
I could say it's the most analog sound so far from the SBT, except
analog was never this open and clear in my system.

Great job! Thank you very much for sharing these settings.

and

My quick take is that these latest settings are a bit of an improvement.
The clarity, smoothness, and detail are still there, but everything
seems to be notched up just a hair better. One of my favorite test
tracks is on the Stereophile Test CD #3---by Airto Moira and the Gods of
Jazz--titled "Never Mind". Just piano, drum kit, and bass. But,
goodness, did that just sound amazing.
