Ok. I'm not using the analog outs of the Transporter, but I referred to the AES digital out as "balanced" since it is XLR terminated. Of course, then we have the question of the interconnect quality itself, but that's another topic.
Thanks for the advice on the ethernet. I'll need about 50 feet (less than 20 meters), so I suppose I'll be just fine.
