"Pretty high"? I've seen used SB3s going for $75 to $150. You're looking for something that will work with LMS? Good luck ever finding or building something other than a Squeezebox for $75. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/ele/3298688195.html I disagree that they'll have an every-diminishing lifespan. I expect many SB2s and SB3s will work for many, many years. If yours happens to die it's just a matter of poor luck. The prices may still be relatively high, but they can only go lower and lower, which is why I say keep an eye out. Create a Craigslist and/or eBay search for Squeezeboxes, bookmark it, check it every so often. There will be random crazy cheap bargains to be had. In just a couple of years they'll be selling for $20 or $30 because few people will remember what a Squeezebox was, and those who do will consider it ancient technology. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96663 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
