Welcome. I think you're likely to get a better response in the DIY forum than in the Audiophile forum, as many (but not all) audiophiles do not believe in EQ. Or they don't believe in packages such as the SB Receiver-plus-SRi-amp.
Unless you are really interested in doing this kind of surgery on your SB-plus-SRi kit, I would recommend you start over and get a standard SB. It could be another Duet Receiver, or a Touch, or a Classic, or whatever. Anything that does not have a built-in amp. Then simply buy a separate hardware equalizer or equalizer/pre-amp and plug it into a separate amp. If you really want to get elbow-deep in the entrails of the beast, I don't have the technical expertise to help you, but good luck! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98761 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
