Testing I find is a nice distraction in the Man Cave after work and the kids are down every few days. Definitely not for holiday time :-) . Actually, I think I'm pretty close to satisfying my curiosity around many of the questions and insecurities I've had over the years with audiophilia... At least with this line level stuff like DAC, cables, effects of WiFi, attributions of jitter, software player effects, PCM vs. DSD output... It's been fun to put up a blog to demystify this stuff and as I say in most of my posts, I'm happy if someone can point me in another direction if my conclusions are false - so long as there's evidence. Took some flak on some of the audiophile forums for threatening the sacred cow - like the importance of $$$ cables.
