I actually like that they look utilitarian. I also wonder about people
who talk the getting the "absolute sound" but seem more worried owning
speakers that look like high-end furniture or components made for
aircraft grade billets of aluminium ;-)

If music is the most important thing wouldn't it be better that the more
of the bill of materials is spent on high-end components rather than
genuine wood veneer etc.?

I also like that people who record music for their livelihood use
Genelec.
