The obit is a hoot from start to finish and includes this gem, which is
stated with absolutely no irony:

And now since the New York Times says so it's official that advertising
and editorial content are totally unrelated in the high end audio press.
Damn I guess I now have get out my credit card and pick up some $500 USB
cables along with copies of those unlistenable recordings on HP's Super
Discs list.
