Testing Transporter Dac tonight, and hooked up my Oppo 103d disc player to the Transporter via irate RCA digi out to TP digital in. So using TP as Dac.
Very nice sound, going through options on Tap display though there's one that's confusing me? Current Settings/ (13 of 17) Word Clock on inputs.....motives me two options? Digital Passthrough Generate word clock Toggling between them playing a CD on the Oppo gives two different types of sound? Could someone explain please what this feature is using the TP as a Dac and why they sound different?
