I can see what the problem is. The photo in the review shows the equipment they used and it includes a Netgear 8 port switch and these only cost about £20.
Surely if they used a Cisco GSR router costing over £50k (and taking up most of a 19 inch rack...) the sound quality improvement would be "night and day", as they say in audiophile-land.
