Hmmm unusual. First I'd try a Xilinx reset. Remove power, point remote
at transporter pressing the 1 key, and restore power at same time. You
can quit pressing the 1 key when you see info about Xilinx on the
transporter screen. 

Also, is the transporter used?  I recall that there are some settings
that relate to connecting direct to an amp with no preamp, but I've
never used them. Is the Cambridge only an amp?
