The room eq seems to be in the form of an optional software package which enables you to apply filtering. Thus I conclude that the measurements must be made using other equipment. That takes a lot of work and you need additional hardware as well as software. The filtering part is actually the easy part. If this functionality isn't somehow integrated in this loudspeaker system, then it's not such a salvation, in my humble opinion. I find room eq very important in my small listening room, it makes a substantial improvement in the lower end.
