Recent LMS has shipped with a newer version of -flac- that,
unexpectedly, doesn't play nicely with LMS when run on a system that
doesn't use the '.' symbol as its decimal separator.
Which means any part of the world that uses ','.

We don't know if the OP's issue is related to the usage of -flac- in his
setup, but it may be.

The OP could test the issue by changing his PC server's regional
settings to use '.' as decimal symbol instead of ','. If that solves the
'no sound' issue, then it is the likely cause. This should be done at
the Windows system level, not within LMS.

I haven't used Windows in a number of years, so I've quite forgotten
where that is done, and whether you need to reboot the PC for it to take
effect.

A fix for the -flac- issue is in the works.
