Hello Walter, I am fixing one bug around aufs build system now. It was the problem reported by Russell Harmon, and fixed in today's release. But this fix is temporary. I am trying fix it cleanly and hope it will be release next Monday release. Until then, I'd suggest you to remove /tmp/aufsvars.mk between 'make -f local.mk kconfig' and 'make' for kernel build, since the problem is very similar to yours.
