I cannot understand what you call a bug.
Do you mean sLOW(?) time is a problem? If so, try these steps and report
the result please.
- decide the command and the target file (or dir).
- run the command on branch directly, eg. bypassing aufs, and check how
  long it took. (time(1) is better)
- run the command again on aufs, and check the time too.
- compare the result.

And how and why did you get these aufs debug messages? They are
meaningless in your case, at least currently.
If you always get these messages, then I am afraid your aufs is broken.
