Yes, it is a regression on 20080929.
20080929
- bugfix: NFSD issues another operation during filesystem's readdir(),
and it may cause a deadlock in aufs. check the current context is in
readdir().

+ stop calling lockdep_off/on().
I already fixed in my local version by restoring lockdep_off/on() call
in fs/aufs*/dir.c:aufs_readdir(). It will be released on next Monday.
