Hello Ashish, Ashish: > Well there is another aufs module under /lib/modules/`uname > -r`/ubuntu/fs/aufs.ko (the one without CONFIG_AUFS_EXPORT) which you need to > delete first, and then run depmod -a.
I have received several reports about the aufs module in ubuntu, and they need to get the latest version of aufs, apply the correct patches and compile by themselves. Additionally, according to Julian Andres Klode, <http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_name=f0d609a70809100057y7c9d33b1u6acd5c154c7ec543%40mail.gmail.com> aufs will be linked statically to the latest ubuntu kernel. It means that you will not be able delete the aufs module since it won't be there. I will attend the ubuntu conference in next month. And if I have a chance, I will ask to revert it a module in the ubuntu kernel. Junjiro R.
