Ah, I'm actually using the normal binaries, which have aufs modules
already. I don't use those modules, so that wouldn't make a difference,
would it?

No, I mounted aufs afterwards. I mean that the only possible alternative
view that the system could have of /tmp/src is the one from before it
was mounted.
