Thank you for telling me URLs. I may join developing union mounts in the future. Actually I wrote the algorithm of readdir() in aufs two years ago. http://marc.info/?l=linux-kernel&m=118915086030712&w=2 As you might know, it consumes system resources much and I don't think its the best solution. But I don't have other ideas. As far as I know, union-type FS can be more flexible than union-Mount. I agree aufs is large, but it is grown up by the feature requests from users simply. I have dropped some of features at the beginning of aufs2, and some users requested restoring them actually and I had to agree they are necessary. Personally, to satisfy user's request is more important than getting into mainline for me. J. R.
