Yes, actually I'm using 2.6.27.8 but there was same problem on 2.6.29.x

You could install mtd-utils package with your system's package software.
Otherwise please try clone git://git.infradead.org/mtd-utils.git directly.

Thanks for that, unfortunately it's not related to my problem I guess.
Actually I found this problem while running another application which
is doing mmap.
This simple application which is taken from googling is just for
debugging purpose.
