I am wondering what will be the effects of using aufs2 kernel with aufs1
binaries/utilities, or aufs1 kernel with aufs2 binaries.
The problem is that we have here a single root filesystem (nfs root) which uses
different kernels. We want to try new kernels but some machines will still boot
from old ones.
Initial tests show that the mount works, however I wanted to know if there are
any side-effects that we didn't see, and which way is better (aufs1 or aufs2
binaries).
