Sorry, it was late yesterday evening.. aufs2, compiled with default options. /read-write NFS RW mount /read-only NFS RO mount NFS-RW and NFS-RO branches mounted in initrd (xino on tmpfs) on /mnt which is switched to / at the end of initrd phase. (diskless NFS root setup) Everything besides /home and /work comes from this aufs mount. autofs4 started as usual from /etc/init.d /etc/auto.master: /net -hosts /opt/cd/mnt /etc/auto.cd --timeout 20 /etc/auto.cd: # iso cd loop mount cd -fstype=iso9660,ro,loop :/read-only/opt/cd/cd.iso Here's another aufs problem: I need to loop mount a cd iso directly from the /read-only branch, otherwise it fails.
