Hi James, This is a patch for the same purpose but different approach. Would you test it after reverting these two commit? d84deeb 8 weeks ago aufs: narrow down the BKL region 4b70e6f 9 weeks ago aufs: bugfix, unlock mmap_sem temporary using BKL I hope this patch solves the problem and makes lockdep clean.
