I'm using Linux 2.6.33-git7 (March 3, 2010) and I got 'aufs2'
(definitely not 'aufs2-xx') from git on March 2nd.

I'm getting a problem:

The kernel is logging error messages like this:

EXT2-fs (loop1): error: ext2_lookup: deleted inode referenced: 12334

Where loop1 is a file with ext2 f.s. that is a aufs branch. I've been
getting lots of these errors. It was ok with the 2.6.33-rc8 kernel.
This is a brand new problem, running the 2.6.33-git7 kernel.

There are files in /var/run that are supposed to be deleted. These are
files that dhcpcd uses, which breaks dhcpcd.

This problem is occurring during normal operation, not after power
failure or any other abnormal condition.

I did a fsck on the file and that fixed it. For example:

/mnt/home/quirkysave-4MAR2010.2fs: Entry 'dhcpcd.sock' in /var/run
(12301) has deleted/unused inode 12334. CLEARED.

This is not good.

My question is, does this look like Aufs is to blame?
