Hi, a Gentoo user noticed me about the fact, that libau.so is a symlink to libau.so.2 and libau.so.2 is a symlink to libau.so.2.2 after calling make. But during install, $install is targeted at those symlinks and installs them as files instead of symlinks.
Would it be possible to preserve those symlinks?
