-2 means "No such file or directory".
2:ENOENT:No such file or directory

It looks like you removed something should not be removed (in this case,
a file or dir named 'cache'). And aufs could not work anymore.

How did you exclude 'sbin' dir?

And your aufs version looks like old.
Please try latest, but I am going to release new one since tommorrow is
Monday.
